Ninja Candy!!

4:05 PM

This is my Japanese candy appreciation post. My little brother used to live in Japan (he's since moved back to the states.. I know he's "special") one of the benefits is that his dad and step mom still live there. Yesterday he got the holy grail of packages from them it contained the regular stuff from parents shirts, stuff for your first apartment yada yada, but then we saw it, delicious Japanese candy in it's bright neon packages with beautiful characters we couldn't read. It's like that with authentic Japanese candy you can't read it so it's like an adventure because you could get fragrant melon perhaps smooth creamy yogurt or it could be octopus. You never know. I started my day today with grape candies that upon hitting your tongue melt into a sweet powder that tastes like a fresh green grape not that weird american grape, however we discovered if you eat too many they also dissolve the inside of your mouth. I followed that with yogurt gumballs that were reminiscent of the inside of a creamcicle. Aaaah Japanese candy HOW I LOVE THEE!!!

Introductions..

Greeting and Salutations.
Don't you have anything better to do than read this? No. Oh well that's okay, I don't have anything better to do than write it. I don't know what this blog will turn into. Chances are I'll get stoned and find myself trying to be philosophical and end up talking about how delicious those little iced animal crackers with sprinkles are..
Either way it will be a fun nerdy adventure. I'm currently reading the Full Metal Alchemist series I'm waiting on the library to get volume 17. If I bought all the comics/manga I read I'd end up living in a cardboard box with an extensive collection of comics in plastic sleeves. Luckily I live next door to the library. Seeing as I currently reside in the North Carolina it is pronounced "Lie-barry" by all of the librarians. I would figure that one of the main requirements for a job would be that you can pronounce it, but apparently that's some crazy notion only I thought of.
